Nagel Rice Brings Suit Against Live Nation For Illegal Ticket Practices

A New Jersey Bruce Springsteen fan has filed a class action lawsuit in federal court accusing Live Nation and its related entities of violating the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act in the sale of tickets to five Bruce Springsteen concerts in 2012.  According to the complaint filed in Trenton federal court, Marilyn Forst of East Windsor, NJ claims that Live Nation only made 1% of the tickets available to the public forcing most fans to purchase tickets in the secondary market at high inflated prices, all in violation of the New Jersey law that requires 95% of all tickets to be sold to the public. Nagel Rice is seeking treble damages which it estimates in the hundreds of millions.
