Nagel Rice is Engaged in a Class Action Lawsuit Against Electrolux U.S.A., Inc.

When you purchase a product, you expect it to work. Consumers of recent Electrolux refrigerators, however, have discovered that you don’t always get what you pay for. Nagel Rice is currently handling a class action lawsuit against Electrolux U.S.A., Inc. due to many complaints from consumers that the ice-making function on their refrigerators failed shortly after purchase.

Electrolux advertised and marketed several of its refrigerator models to the general public nationwide, touting the ice-making capability of their machines and assuring consumers that there would be “ice at your fingertips.” Soon after many consumers purchased their refrigerators, they discovered that the ice-making capability failed. Additionally, the refrigerators began to leak water and cause damage to consumers’ homes. Electrolux advertised their refrigerators as top-of-the-line appliances with prices to match: between $2,000 and $4,000. Many consumers, as early as 2008, have already come forward to voice their displeasure with their own Electrolux refrigerators. Electrolux has failed to stand by its product, often telling consumers that because the warranty period on their refrigerator has run, Electrolux has no further obligation to them.

If you are a consumer who purchased an Electrolux Refrigerator in 2008 or later and has experienced the frustration of a defective product, please call us to consult with one of our experienced attorneys and shine a light on unacceptable business practices.
