Short Hills Mall News Clip

November 13, 2014 – Good Morning America did a story covering the release of the surveillance videos from the fatal carjacking at the Short Hills Mall last December.  The videos show the suspects casing the mall three days prior to the murder of Dustin Friedland as well as the suspects stalking other cars before carjacking Mr. Friedland and his wife.  Bruce Nagel, the Friedlands’ attorney, stated “The surveillance videos are chilling,” he said. “On December the 12th, the same car with apparently the same individuals was apparently casing the mall. They actually had a dry run … On December the 15th, the night in question – the videos are even more chilling. It shows that these individuals in the same exact car as three days earlier were on the property.”
