Christopher Lobozzo is an associate at Nagel Rice. Chris concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, sex abuse, and commercial litigation.

Prior to joining Nagel Rice, Mr. Lobozzo worked at Buttaci, Leardi and Werner, first as a Summer Associate, then as a Law Clerk, and upon completing his J.D., as an Attorney of the Firm. At Buttaci, Leardi and Werner, Chris’ practice was principally focused on representing healthcare providers in reimbursement disputes, including claims for benefits; overpayment disputes and litigation; insurance fraud investigations and prosecutions; and claims for unpaid or underpaid benefits. He also routinely handled matters surrounding contract disputes, business torts, regulatory compliance, and employment matters.
Chris is an alumnus of Seton Hall University School of Law, where he graduated in the inaugural part-time weekend program. At Seton Hall, Chris was a student advocate at Seton Hall’s Employment Law Clinic where he represented plaintiffs in workplace discrimination matters. While attending law school, Chris worked as a Law Clerk at Stern, Kilcullen and Rufolo, where he assisted with complex civil litigation matters on behalf of publicly and privately held corporations.


Prior to his career in the legal field, Chris gained extensive experience in the business world. Chris held executive level positions at three of the nation’s largest retailers. Eventually, Chris leveraged his expertise in business staffing, finance, and operations to offer private consulting to small businesses. Chris draws from his prior experience in business to offer his clients unique insights and perspective in resolving their matters.
